Twenty-five years from his first vintage in France, Mac Forbes has become one of Australia’s most well-respected winemakers with his eponymous Mac Forbes label, based in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.

Intent on doing things his way, Mac’s passion for discovering and understanding the nuances of the Yarra Valley has resulted in a strong focus on farming and improving soil and vine health. As a result, Mac’s wines are distinct and honest, capturing the essence of each parcel of fruit tasted in the vineyard and are widely celebrated both here and abroad.
